In September 2024, I hired attorney Anastasia Sack to represent me at my USCIS interview. Before signing the agreement, I specifically confirmed that she would appear in person with me at the USCIS office. Three days before the interview, Anastasia called and informed me that she would not be able... to attend in person but could assist me remotely. I explained that with only three days’ notice, it was impossible for me to find another attorney. Her response was simply, “I’m sick,” followed by two brief coughs over the phone. Based on the conversation, I did not get the impression that she was ill. As a result, I had to attend my USCIS interview alone.
