Jennifer Torres

Jennifer was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended St. Thomas University and graduated with a dual degree in International Relations and Political Science. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in just three years, Jennifer attended St. Thomas University School of Law. During her studies at STU, Jennifer received several honors, including The Order of Barristers Award and the Cali Excellence for the Future Book Award in Evidence, Trial Advocacy Practice, and Bar Prep Skills.

Her passion for litigation led her to serve as Vice President of Competition to the St. Thomas Trial Team, where she was able to participate in various Trial Competitions throughout Miami and Washington D.C. Jennifer clerked for The Honorable Jose M. Rodriguez at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida and graduated top 10 percent of her class Cum Laude.

Jennifer began her legal career at Legal Services of Greater Miami, where she assisted low income individuals with legal problems, including employment discrimination, unfair health care debt collection, bankruptcy to discharge medical debt and public benefits. Upon leaving Legal Services, Jennifer worked for various law firms, acquiring experience on the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense, and Personal Injury Protection. Jennifer advocates vigorously on behalf of her clients to ensure that they receive the best individualized legal representation throughout Florida.
