Rafael Recalde

I am the founder and president of Recalde Law Firm, P.A.  We provide legal services ranging from complex commercial litigation in state and federal court, to international arbitration and cross-border securities transactions.  

Business law is my passion.  My background is in corporate, banking, real estate, tech and securities law.  

Some of my experience includes: 

-Ten years’ experience in complex commercial litigation and business transaction matters, with oversight of over 1,000 litigation matters. 

-Lead attorney in commercial dispute and successful settlement against world’s largest cement manufacturer. 

-Provide legal counsel and representation to tech start ups, investors, mid sized enterprises, accelerators and VC funds in connection with fund raising rounds, legal structuring, private equity/venture capital fund formation, equity compensation plans, securities operations and ICOs.

-Legal audit of publicly traded company and appearance before NASDAQ panel concerning a stock trade halt.

-Representation of foreign nationals in international arbitration and federal court actions seeking over $15M in damages, alleging corruption in connection with government contracts in fields of hydroelectricity, oil and gas, water and sewage, and others. 

-Represent parties to domain name recovery matters through litigation and private arbitration on behalf of corporate victims of cybersquatting and stolen domain names.  

-Representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in multiple  non-compete, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, fraud claims, and other business disputes. 

-Lead attorney negotiating vendor agreements with Walmart Mexico
