Replied last May 09, 2015This client is part owner of an aircraft service company and wanted a divorce because she caught her husband cheating on her..He was an employee and she wanted to push him out of the business. We agreed to a flat fee that was non-refundable. I prepared a complex marital settlement agreement and corporate documents. She took the papers home with her to confront her husband and make him sign. She did not come back. Nine months later she asked for a refund. They reconciled most likely due to the scare I put in him when she confronted him with the divorce papers.
