I was afraid for many years to be on the deportation list and never renewed my resident card since I got here in 1980, I had two convictions. After many years of suffering I came to visit his office with my parents and I was assist by Attorney Lovo, very honest and professional. He explained the en...tire process to us from beginning to end, the entire process took almost two years of going to Immigration and back the first time we went I took the test I passed the test but since I had some convictions they denied my case there for further review and them I was transfer to immigration court a year later. When that happen I was contacted by my attorney again and he send a motion to immigration court and it was granted the prosecutors never appealed so after another month of waiting to received the confirmation from the Immigration court, them we went ahead and re applied to my citizenship we did the entire process all over again from fingerprints to test and I was also denied at the day of the interview for further investigation but my file was super neat and everything that they need it this time was there we knew that this was going to happen as he advised us of the entire process, long story short two weeks later I received my letter stating that I was accepted and my Oath day. So finally after so many years of struggling and suffering I'm a United States Citizen. Now I have my passport, my voters registration card, and I'm a clean US citizen. I owe all of this success in my life to Attorney Bernardo Lovo, he was very challenging in my case since the beginning, he told me to believe in him and have faith, so I did and here I'm. I was finally able to take my daughter on her first cruise without having to make up excuses for her anymore. My husband was detained by ICE while reporting to his probation officer. His case was very severe, he had one charge. Extremely bad. I don't condone what he did, however I am his wife and we are not perfect so I chose to forgive him and stay beside him no matter what. I interviewed a total of 6 immig...ration attorney's. There were only 2 that were willing to take his case. That's how bad it was. My husbands life was in my hands. I decided to go with Jose B Lovo. Since the initial he did say it wasn't easy but he was willing to do what he could. He seemed determined and knowledgeable. My faith was with him. The judge was very determined that my husband was charged with aggravated felony. This went sour even though Bernie explain the charges didn't pertain to him. He even asked for me to re-petition my husband. Again and again we kept going to court and Bernie continued to educate the judge to reconsider and the judge said you might be right but I'm still going to classify him as an aggravated felony. Later on, the clerks office called him a said that he wanted to do a re-hearing. To make sure he heard both sides arguments and make a firm decision. Judge made the decision of not classifying my husband as an AF and he made bail and that night he was free to go. My husband was detained for one month and one week. Jose ALWAYS kept me in the loop. Answered all my questions at any given time. He is very reasonable when it comes to pricing. I cannot express how thankful I am for what he did. I would highly recommend him hands down!
