Helana attended the University of Miami, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.B.A degree in finance. She then attended the University of Miami School of Law from where she graduated summa cum laude. When at the University of Miami School of Law, Helana served as an Associate Editor for the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. Prior to starting her firm, Helana worked as an associate at a national labor and employment firm where she represented employers of all sizes in various labor and employment matters. Helana also served as a fellow for the Florida Office of the Attorney General, Economic Crimes Division.
