This attorney is extremely unprofessional, rude, and does not know how to manage her calendar. She cancelled on our 12PM appointment to move it to 2PM exactly 2 hours before the appointment. Then she moved it again with no notice to 3PM. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited to be seen. After waitin...g for nearly 45 minutes, she finally appears at 3:30PM without an apology for the wait or last minute changes. Since the appointment was for a $200 1-hour consult, we requested consideration for an adjustment to the price as it was now half the time allotted. This attorney had a horrible attitude and angrily proclaimed she had people waiting for her, as if WE were the ones wasting her time, another testament to her embarrassingly poor time management. In addition, her small office has no client parking as we were warned we would be towed if we parked onsite. Nonetheless, we preferred to leave immediately and walk back to the nearby parking garage that we just paid for rather than to deal with this wildly inept attorney who does not know how to treat her clients nor manage a calendar in a professional manner.

I hired Sandra Hoyos Mejia to represent me on a complex divorce matter that had been pending for over 7 years before I hired her to represent me. The other attorneys were never able to either negotiate the case or take it to trial. Finally, last week after almost 10 Years of dealing with this case..., I was divorced with extremely good results. I only have good things to say about my experience with this attorney, and I can now start my life without having to think about litigation.
