Mr. Cavero was born in Newark, New Jersey, raised in New York City, and has been living in Miami-Dade County for twenty years. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of New York at Binghamton in 1991, and earned a Juris Doctorate in 1994 from Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey.
Upon moving to South Florida, he developed extensive experience in litigation and legal research & writing. He started off his career as an Assistant Public Defender litigating jury and non-jury trials before the Seventh Judicial Circuit. Subsequently, he honed his skills as a Judicial Clerk with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida where he researched case law, state and federal statutes. In doing so, he aided the judiciary in the adjudication of cases before the civil, family, criminal, and probate court divisions.
Mr. Cavero’s involvement with matters pertaining to workers’ compensation began when he was House Counsel for Point Blank Body Armor. He was responsible for assuring corporate compliance with federal and state regulations and statutes, including but not limited to, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Immigration and Nationality Act. Moreover, he represented management in disputes before the Department of Labor and Employment Security.
When Mr. Cavero resigned from his position with Point Blank Body Armor, he began to practice workers’ compensation law representing claimants. However, he quickly found his calling as Defense Counsel with Miller, Kagan, Rodriguez & Silver, where he was involved primarily in the representation of the city of Miami Beach.
Fed up with ruthless billing requirements, Mr. Cavero established his firm in 2003, and broke with his traditional areas of practice in order to pursue an area that was near-and-dear to his heart: Real Estate. He became a Title Agent with the Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund, and began performing residential closings. As a Title Agent with the Fund, he dedicated himself on a full-time basis to real estate transactions. His prior experience resolving title issues, preparing transactional documents, and assisting landlords in property management disputes proved to be an invaluable asset that allowed him to evolve into a seasoned practitioner in the field. Since then, he has personally issued title insurance to hundreds of purchasers and lending institutions throughout the State of Florida. Being true to his roots, he reincorporated property management and the resolution of landlord-tenant disputes to his practice.
In addition to being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, Mr. Cavero is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Division.
Mr. Cavero’s broad experience in the areas of real estate transactions, property management and landlord/tenant law, combined with his interpersonal skills and bilingual communication, make him an exceptional asset for his clients. Throughout the past ten years he has represented thousands of clients in real estate matters ranging from commercial and residential evictions to closings, ejectments and title issues. Allow him to put his experience at your service TODAY.

Mr. Cavero was highly recommended after I was involved in a Family Law case. At first, I was confused with much anxiety as to what were my rights. But from the moment I had my first conference with Mr. Cavero I knew I wanted him to represent my case. He took the time to explain how the case was going...

Had a problem a few years back with a residential lease and the murky problem of toxic mold in the house I had rented. Different attorneys gave me different opinions on what to do. I reached out to Mr. Cavero and he gave me a straightforward appraisal of the law, what would not apply, what did apply...

Mr. Cavero handled my mother's foreclosure case for over four years. We are so thankful that he was able to allow our mother to own the home just that much longer. We could not have done it without his legal expertise and patience.
"I have been on both sides of the aisle with Mr. Cavero. From personal experience, I can represent that he is both enthusiastic and zealous when it comes to representing each individual client. Indeed, I have seen this man go to bat for a client against all odds. In particular, I have been witness to passion that effectively has swayed the minds of starch opponents. Personally speaking, I know of no other attorney who is as well versed in landlord/tenant & property law than Julio Cavero; without exception, this attorney knows the ins and outs of his field."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Mr. Cavero for about 4 years now. Mr. Cavero is an exceptional attorney and he cares about his clients. He is extremely knowledgeable in Landlord/Tenant Law. I have worked with Mr. Cavero in a handful of cases and he always understands the legal issues and finds solutions to any complicated matter. Any Landlord/Tenant matter that I receive, I always refer to Mr. Cavero because of the confidence that I have in his legal abilities. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone in need of representation regarding any landlord/tenant matter."
