This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Would not recommend! Did not have my children or my best interest in mind. She is all about making money!

***I would not recommend for a slew of reasons*** I hired and put my trust in Ms. Reyes a few years ago but she let me and my family down. She sent her assistant to an important hearing last minute instead of herself. She also left in the middle of mediation for an emergency -once again and had he...r assistant take over which ultimately sabotaged a VERY expensive and completely USELESS mediation. She also had another family emergency which resulted in a week of court being delayed which cost me more money. I was very patient and understanding due to the circumstances but was given zero discount for her unfortunate situation and lengthy delay. Eventually, I ran out of money and she said she would work with me which I believe was the main reason I was strong armed into settling on a Sunday the night before court after fighting and suffering for a year. Court was scheduled for a week and she knew she wouldn't get paid because I was out of money. This was my first and only divorce as well as experience with lawyers and the judicial system. I was emotionally, physically, mentally and financially drained and thought my attorney had my best interest in mind. Instead I spent a huge fortune and got a very generic Martial Settlement Agreement which left me wide open for more litigation on important issues. The MSA didn't even discuss a college agreement for our 3 children. Nor, was deadlines implemented for important tax related issues that are still unresolved 4 YEARS LATER. I reached out to here regarding the issue and she patronized me and said I could rehire the firm if I want! Lastly, I got a call from her secretary demanding her money and gave me a few days to pay. I guess that's what she meant when she said she 'would work with me!" Apparently, I had 30 days to pay her over 30k according to a sentence in the MSA that I didn't see. They were downright nasty and said if I didn't pay she would not be representing me for the upcoming court regarding custody of my 3 children. I was a commercial pilot but sacrificed my career to expand my family and so my husband could advance his career, I had been unemployed for 10 years and she knew this when I hired her. Once the contract is signed, there is no control with the billing. It's a free for all! It is my experience that I was significantly overcharged and misrepresented.
