Been a client for years

I've been a client of Paul Bravo for 3 years now and I'm very happy with his work, I would highly recommend him. He's drafted over 10 agreements for me as well as represented us in a lawsuit that was eventually settled.

Unresponsive and money hungry

This firm I hired to evict tenants and to collect a money judgement of rent past due. Since we do not live in the state of the property we really needed experienced and knowledgable attorneys. We sent them all the information on the delinquent tenants so as to pursue with the eviction and money jud...gement. One representative told me that they had personal and professional experience with evictions. The firm sent the eviction letter and was ill advised to wait 9 days after official move out date to check. When I found out that the tenants had moved and not knowing where they had gone, the firm wanted to charge an extra fee. They had not forseen the tenants moving out. I would have sent someone to see at least when and to where they had relocated if it weren't for the misinformation given. Is that called experience and knowledgable about this process? Not at all. The person in the office that answers sounds very pleasant but the lawyers themselves never, not once, call back when messages have been stated on their voicemail or via email. Rarely do they answer emails as well. Now they want to charge us extra to hire their own private investigator to locate the delinquent tenants to pursue the money judgement.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
