I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your professional assistance with my appeal denial by the Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company. I was very stressed out and felt overwhelming hopelessness after losing my insurance benefits that I was entitled due to my disability. I have gr...eat difficulty with chronic pain, anxiety and depression caused by Spasmodic Torticollis, Myoclonus Dystonia, and Genetic Torsion Dystonia that I suffer with every day. I worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 years until 07/2013; when I was forced out of work due to my disability. I have cared for thousands of patients over the years during the most vulnerable time of life and always strived to provide the highest level of care and dignity to all my patients. I started receiving long term disability benefits 02/2013, and qualified for waiver of my life insurance premiums. On 10/11/16, for the first time in over three years, I was in denial about my dystonia and attempted to start orientation in a per diem nursing job caring for one patient at home in a very limited capacity (6-8 hours a week), but was unsuccessful because my condition exacerbated after 4 hours of orientation for the job. The Hartford Insurance company automatically denied my waiver of premium life insurance benefits protected by ERISA law because of my unsuccessful job attempt. Thank you so much for helping me with my case, it is amazing how cold people are and companies will do whatever financially benefits them. Thank you so much for taking my case and writing a letter to the Hartford with pertinent documents getting them to reverse their unlawful decision.
