Justin Robert Rundle

Justin Rundle was born and raised in Miami, Florida to a lineage of legal DNA. His grandfather was the Honorable Judge Carlos Benito Fernandez; the first Cuban judge in the United States. His father is a trial attorney with a law firm in Vermont, and his mother is the Miami-Dade State Attorney, Katherine Fernandez-Rundle. In fact, Justin was named after Justinian the Great, a Roman King credited with the writing of Roman law, the Corpus Juris Civilis.

Mr. Rundle is a triple cum laude graduate from MAST Academy, the University of Florida, and the University of Miami School of Law. As a law student, Mr. Rundle received the Marco A. Vasquez Scholarship for excellence in Litigation Skills. This prestigious award is given to one student every year who exhibits superior performance in a field of over 100 highly-skilled competitors.

Mr. Rundle is a published author for the Anti-Defamation League, an organization founded to protect civil rights. He was trained in oral argument as a Board Member and competition finalist in the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. He served as President of the Mass Torts and Complex Litigation Society, and as a Research Assistant to Professors Charlton Copeland and Tamara Lave.

Mr. Rundle has been fortunate enough to experience several facets of the legal world from behind the scenes. He interned for the honorable judges Andrea M. Simonton, Alan S. Gold, and Ursula Ungaro. During his time at the federal courthouse, Mr. Rundle received direct leadership from the judges and learned the inner workings of the legal system.
