I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Belchenko a few years back. We have hired her to help us with our legal battle/negotiations within the company where neither party was willing nor able to communicate with each other. She was able to present each side's view objectively, with a great knowledge of our options. With her help, we were able to reach a resolution to our problems, and avoid further damage to the company and our clients. On a personal note, I found her ability to isolate and pinpoint the nature of our issues and bring a resolution that addressed the issue at its core detrimental in resolving our conflict.
best experience in my life professional aterny!!!!
The associates at Olesia Y. Belchenko, Esquire were very professional and warm in responding to my needs as they represented me. They always had timely responses to any of my concerns and were patient answering my questions. Their professionalism and thoroughness of work put me at ease during representation. I highly recommend Olesia Y. Belchenko, and Olesia in particular and would seek their help in the future if needed.
I focus my practice on resolution of all forms of business and commercial disputes in state and federal courts. To a number of my clients, I also serve as an outside counsel, providing incorporation and corporate book maintenance services, registering their trademarks, and preparing agreements specific to their areas of business. I also teach business law at the University of Miami School of Business Administration.
A native of Russia, I am fluent in Russian. I earned my undergraduate degree in Political Science, with honors, from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, and my law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
In the past, I served as a member of a Grievance Committee of The Florida Bar, investigating complaints filed against attorneys; on the Board of Directors of the Dade County Bar Association, including its Executive Committee; and as a chair of the International Law Committee of the DCBA.
I represent indigent clients on a pro bono basis for Put Something Back Project of Miami-Dade County. I often volunteer as a judge for the University of Miami School of Law C. Clyde Atkins Spring Advanced Moot Court Competition, which tests students’ advocacy skills in a simulation of arguments before the Florida Supreme Court.
I am admitted to practice in Florida state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
