Denise Marie Heekin

I represent private sector and public sector management in all aspects of labor and employment law.  My clients range from small, family-owned businesses to large mult-national corporations.  I provide day-to-day counseling and training to my clients as well as represent them in administrative proceedings and in federal and state courts.  I have been practicing in this area for over two decades and am Board Certified in Labor and Employment law by the Florida Bar.

Some of the substantive areas of law in which I provide advice include, but are not limited to, employment discrimination, whistleblower, fair labor standards act, family and medical leave act, employment contract, non-competes, severance plans, constitutional claims, employment torts, collective bargaining, arbitrations, and union avoidance.
