David Alexander Villarreal

David Alexander Villarreal is a partner at the Law Office of Roig & Villarreal, P.A.

Mr. Villarreal is an active trial and appellate attorney.

Mr. Villarreal was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  He is the youngest son of Cuban immigrants, who taught him by way of example about hard work, dedication and humility.

In 2010, Mr. Villarreal earned a juris doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida.

During law school, Mr. Villarreal served as a judicial clerk for Florida state court judge Honorable Israel Reyes, 11th Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida.

In 2011, Mr. Villarreal began working as a law clerk at Lipcon, Margulies, Alsina & Winkleman, P.A. (“LMAW”), a top and highly-respected maritime personal injury law firm based in Miami, Florida.  In 2012, Mr. Villarreal was hired as an associate attorney at LMAW.

Mr. Villarreal successfully litigated personal injury claims, such as, but not limited to, wrongful death claims, rape & sexual assault claims, physical assault & battery claims, slip/trip & fall claims, and premises liability.

Mr. Villarreal handled high-profile cases, successfully represented and case managed over 60 clients in a single case, and successfully litigated claims on behalf of cruise ship passengers and crew members against many of the U.S.-based cruise lines, such as, but not limited to, Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., Celebrity Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line.

Additionally, Mr. Villarreal has handled appeals before the Third & Fourth District Court of Appeals in Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Mr. Villarreal is licensed to practice law in all Florida state and appellate courts, including before the following federal courts:
