Biography
Christopher Michael DeCoste is a Miami based criminal trial attorney with over 10 years of experience handling criminal cases in Florida.
Mr. DeCoste is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and received his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. While in Law School he was named to the Dean's List, elected Associate Managing Editor of the Moot Court Board Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy and selected as an advocate for the top ranked National Trial Team.
Prior to founding the Law Office of Christopher DeCoste, P.A. in 2008, Mr. DeCoste worked as a Prosecutor in Miami-Dade. While at the Office of the State Attorney, Mr. DeCoste was selected as a specialized Prosecutor with the Career Criminal / Robbery Unit. A short time later, he was also selected as a specialized Prosecutor for the Traffic Homicide Investigations Unit. During his time as a Prosecutor, he handled thousands of cases with charges ranging from Misdemeanors to Murder. This work allowed Mr. DeCoste to acquire valuable experience and knowledge of the applicable laws, the Miami-Dade Court System and insight into how and why a case is prosecuted. Since 2008, he has defended thousands of Clients charged with everything from Misdemeanor offenses to Death Penalty prosecutions.
Mr. DeCoste is wholly dedicated towards using all of his experience and knowledge to defend the rights and best interests of each and every Client.
