I give 5 starts to attorney Maria Zelaya for 5 cases she successfully accomplished for me. Excellent attorney, I hired Maria Zelaya for several cases, eviction, lawsuit for damages, and couple traffic tickets. Very good and busy attorney, overall she always did a good job to me, and her secretaries w...ere very competent. I absolutely will recommend attorney Zelaya, she did not failed to any case I have done with her, all cases were accomplished successfully.

Maria Zelaya was / is an EXCELLENT attorney!!! It is a complicated story, but I was accused of child abuse. We hired Maria Zelaya just before we were supposed to appear in Miami-Dade County Juvenile Court, and an hour before there was supposed to be a hearing to have my children placed into foster ...care. Maria met with us, got our version of the story; she met with the Florida DCF attorneys and got their version of the story. And then she stood in front of the judge and really tried to make it clear that the "facts" that were being presented by Florida DCF were not quite as they appeared. She really went out of her way to negotiate and resolve issues on our behalf with Florida DCF, and more than once, she was able to present alternatives to the judge that were more of what was in our family's best interest, than what Florida DCF was proposing. She is an outstanding lawyer who kept in constant contact with us, with every step of the process, either via telephone or e-mail. I would recommend her to anyone!

I am currently recommending Ms. Zelaya to a friend because I had a truly excellent experience with her when she handled my (complicated) divorce a few years ago. She was extremely caring and sensitive and she kept me informed every step of the way. When I searched online to be sure she was at the sam...e location, I was really surprised to see a negative review posted here. Throughout nearly a 7 month divorce process, she was absolutely wonderful with me and I give her the very highest recommendation --in fact, I have sent numerous other clients to her and all have been THOROUGHLY pleased with her services.

Ms. Zelaya is the hardest person to get in contact with. You can email her or contact her office and leave messages, but she will never reply. At one point it took her three months to get back to me. Also, the receptionist which does most of the work, is incompetant. You can't ask her anything, she n...ever knows anything.The only reason I left her handling my case was because I had already paid her in full. On top of it all, a case that would take three months to resolve has been prolonged over a year. I would not recommend this attorney!!!!!
