Cindy Blandon was born in Nicaragua. In 2011, Attorney Blandon earned her first law degree from Nicaragua at Universidad Centroamericana (“UCA”). In Nicaragua, she worked as a clerk in the law office of UCA. At UCA, Attorney Blandon performed legal research and practiced in civil law, family law, and labor law.
In 2011, Attorney Blandon became a legal permanent resident through her family petition, and she decided to move to Miami. Through her personal experience with the immigration system, she is able to know the law, the process, and emotions that many immigrants experience in trying to get the legal permanent residence.
Because her passion is to be an attorney, she decided to apply to St. Thomas University School of Law (“STU”) where she was admitted as a law student in 2013. At STU, she was part of the Dean List, and Earned the CALI Book Award in Property II. Also, she volunteers at VIDA and CABA where she assisted low-income clients in filing divorce pleadings and citizenship petitions.
In 2015, Attorney Blandon graduated Cum Laude from STU, and she was admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court Southern District of Florida on 2015.
Actually, Attorney Blandon is the owner and managing partner of the Cindy Blandon Law Firm in Miami, and she has dedicated her practice to representing clients in the core areas of Immigration Law, Estate Planning, and Real Estate Development.
She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association, and she is studying a LL.M. in Real Property Development in the University of Miami.
