I recently reached the decision to file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Attorney Cohen was referred to me by a family friend. I hired Brian Cohen to help me with a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. From start to finish he was utterly professional, as was his staff. First, I met with him, not a staff memeber or paralegal. From what I've heard that in and of itself is not typical. What impressed me most about Mr. Cohen was his gentle and kind demeanor. Whereas most of the other lawyers were inclined to impress me (and themselves) with the depth and breadth of their knowledge, Mr. Cohen displayed no such insecurity. That professionalism continued throughout his representati...on of me. Despite my relatively high income, he suggested ways in which we could apply the "means test" to my case to enable me to qualify for Chapter 7; most of the other attorneys immediately "decided for me" that I should do a Chapter 13. My Chapter 7 case has now been successfully completed, and throughout the entire process both Mr. Cohen and his staff maintained both the professionalism and integrity that was displayed right from the initial consultation. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Cohen and his firm to anyone, like me, who may not be sure whether bankruptcy is the answer for them, but who needs sound and unbiased advice to make a reasoned and well-informed decision.
