Graduated from “Universidad Católica Andres Bello”, in Caracas, Venezuela, and has a master’s in law from Tulane University, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Member of the Louisiana and New York State Bar Associations, member of the American Bar Association, and an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Licensed to practice Immigration Law in all 50 states, Mrs. Arias Tovar has worked for international law firms such as Baker & Mc. Kenzie in Venezuela, Chaffe McCall in New Orleans and Fox Horan & Camerini in New York. She has more than 30 years of experience advising international clients.

During the past 20 years, she has concentrated on immigration law, guiding US Corporations and foreign individuals through their relocation process.

Mrs. Arias Tovar has lectured on immigration subjects, has been legal counsel for several non-for-profit organizations, and is an active volunteer offering information and support to the community through television programs, workshops and newspaper articles on immigration topics.

Mr. Tovar is the founder of Arias Tovar and Associates in Venezuela. He earned a Law Degree from the “Universidad Católica Andrés Bello” in Caracas, Venezuela, and has a master’s in international law, trade and finance from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Mr. Tovar has accumulated over 30 years of experience in different professional areas and business activities.

He has worked in the international banking industry as Vice President and Manager of Personal Banking of the Banco Consolidado New York Branch. He has also worked for international law firms such as Cameron & Hornbostel in New York City and the Law Offices of Carolyn W. Davenport, and the Law Offices of Philip H. Teplen, New York firms, specialized in immigration law and related business law matters.

Mr. Tovar served for approximately seven years on the Board of Directors of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce of the United States and as President for two years.

Mr. Tovar is also the Co-Founder and Director of the Hispanic Independent Association of America (HIPA) and Co-Founder, former President, and actual Chief Executive Officer of DEMOS of The Americas. Currently, he serves as General Counsel and Business Consultant for Arias Tovar. He is widely recognized as an experienced business counsel who specializes in multinational corporations, international trade, and finance.
