Let's face it, child custody is not a fun subject.... Valérie was able to bring a human aspect to everything she did. She was not only extremely knowledgeable, always responded in a timely manner, but she also was very approachable, supportive yet remained completely objective. She gave me great ad...vice that resulted in an agreement I am very happy with. I am so glad I hired her firm, she is an excellent attorney, and a wonderful human being. There was another part of this. My husband kidnapped our daughter when she was visiting him in the summer. Valerie acted quickly, stayed calm and understood my anguish but she got this to court within days for an emergency hearing. Knowing her family law inside out, she assured me that I would get my daughter back. Again, she focused on the critical arguments of the case, briefed me very thoroughly for the court appearance (which i had to do on skype!), and the judge ordered my child come home to me. She has been empathetic, but always realistic with me, so thoroughly professional. She does not waste on a lot time on words, she just does the hard work of preparation.Valerie is not only someone with the perfect temperament and intellect to be a first class family lawyer, but she a lovely person, with great personal integrity.
