Biography
Mr. Raether is an experienced practitioner in business immigration and one of the leading specialists in this field for investors and entrepreneurs from Russian-speaking markets. His firm alone in 2017 accounted for more than 25% of all EB-5 visas from Russia. However, his practice actively engages with investors and clients from around the world through their office in the Miami area.
Mr. Raether's practice focuses on business immigration, but his firm also provides full support for new start-up entities in the U.S., from offering company registration and legal structuring to providing tax advice and accounting support. Mr. Raether also works with developers and other entrepreneurs in creating regional centers and commercial projects that qualify for EB-5 funds.
Of course, in addition to EB-5, Mr. Raether with a broad range of other business-related mmigration petitions, including L-1, E-2, and EB-1a for extraordinary individuals. Among his clients are well-known artists, musicians, and movie producers.
Although Mr. Raether is American, he is a fluent Russian speaker thanks to years of experience working and living in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. He also studied at Moscow State University in 1990. This allows him to work and interact with clients on a level not possible for English-speaking colleagues.
Mr. Raether has hosted his own radio program in the Miami area and was featured in a serial on the Discovery Channel for his immigration work. He regularly speaks at conferences in the U.S. and abroad regarding EB-5 and other business-related options for immigration to the United States. His practice has received awards for customer satisfaction among their clients.
