Not very well prepared for court

In May of 2016, Mr. Crutchfield was suspended from the Bar for violating the Oath of Admission under several rules. Do your homework on this guy.

Took my case, then declined!

Very disappointed, I feel I was led on by this man! I feel he was all about his money, after reading his contract I said I would like to think about it as he wanted 40% on a case that was already started with another attorney, next step was trial, by time he got his 40% and the other attorney got 40...% what would that leave me with? He tells me to fire my other attorney, then tells me he wont take my case! Kinda felt led on with his sweetness!

I am sorry our Firm was unable to assist you with this matter. We did our best to fully address your questions during several free consultations. To clarify, we NEVER advised you that we would be paying your former counsel 40% in addition to our fees out of any settlement. However, it was necessary for us to advise you of our legal obligation (per FL Law) to reimburse your previous counsel for monies he advanced on your behalf (court costs & filing fees, etc.). These costs are entirely separate from an attorney fee, and your former counsel has a right to be reimbursed for those monies out of any settlement you may receive. Attorneys fees for contingency fee cases are established and regulated by the Florida Bar and Supreme Court to ensure consistency between firms thus protecting both clients and attorneys. Therefore, you should expect to receive similar advice from other firms regarding the same issues. Personally, I wish you the best with your case and I appreciate you deeming me "sweet."

Solid, hard working, knowledgeable attorney

Greg and his paralegal, Michelle torn into my case with very little time to fix what my previous attorney either didn't do, or did incorrectly. They worked well with me, and were genuinely concerned with putting me back in the best light. They were always available and protected my interests. I wou...ldn't hesitate to use them again.

Highly Recommend Greg for Family Law

Seeing reviews already here, I am confused at the negative ones. Greg was very thorough in my divorce case - he did his homework and was prepared for my questions and for the case in court. I would recommendation Greg without hesitation and I think the best compliment I can offer, is that he would ...be my first choice should I need a family-law attorney again. I'm a cut-to-the-chase person, so here are his pros: He's candid, personable, thorough, and tenacious when he needs to be. He's also considerate and tries to do what's best for his client. Several times he made suggestions that were helpful to my situation, not his, because he could have easily made recommendations that would have driven costs higher. I find his ethics to be of highest nature. His staff is top-notch. Here are the cons: He can be difficult to reach at times, especially if he has more pressing cases. Find me a good attorney who isn't hard to reach. He did, however, eventually contact me each time I requested. He does charge for every phone call, email, and meeting. However, he's up front about how he charges and he is running a business. My suggestion is to limit time with him to essential questions. If you want to have small talk or discuss remedial issues, consult a close friend or counselor. Family law is very personal, but I think people forget the attorney-client relationship is a business one, not a personal one. That said, I felt very at ease with Greg and he remembered details about my personal life that told me he does care for his clients. Without a doubt, if you need a family law attorney, consider using Greg.

Horrible experience

Greg crutchfield did absolutely NOTHING but take my $2000. He was on vacation practically the whole time I hired him. Ended up taking the same deal the state had offered me before I even spoke to him. Greg made all these promises that he could definitely get my charges dropped to a lesser charg...e and when he couldn't he just wanted more money for us to go to trial. He had other people from his office show up to court for him. Worst attorney I have ever worked with.
