Biography
Jessica Hicks was born in Central Florida. She played collegiate tennis at the University of Miami where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Management before she went on to obtain her law degree (J.D.) from Stetson University School of Law.
Jessica began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender for the 18th Judicial Circuit in Brevard County, where she practiced criminal defense and handled cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious felonies including first dregree and capital murder cases. By the end of her tenure as an assistent public defender, Jessica had tried over 80 jury trials to verdict consisting of manslaughters, second and first degree murder cases, and serious sex offense cases.
In October of 2022 Jessica joined Andrew Pickett Law to practice Personal Injury including catastrophic injury cases and wrongful death cases.
Jessica lives with her husband and 2 children in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
