Frank David Zilaitis

Frank began his professional career at Drexel University in Philadelphia in 1978. During a five-year work-study program, he was a member of a systems engineering team at the Pennsylvania Power & Light Company that was responsible for reducing air pollution emitted from power plants. After his PP&L assignment, he was a member of a software engineering team at the Harris Corporation in Palm Bay, FL that developed a secure voice communications system for the US Navy.

Upon graduation from Drexel with a BSEE in 1983, Frank joined the Hughes Aircraft Company in California as a Member of the Technical Staff where he was part of a design team that brought all-weather strike capability to the USAF’s F-15 and F/A-18 aircraft. He was also part of a systems test team for satellites that deliver television signals worldwide. While at Hughes, Frank received an MSEE from USC in 1985.

In 1986, Frank was recruited from Hughes by Norden Systems in Norwalk, CT where he was a project engineer for an upgrade of the radar for the Israeli Air Force's F-4. Later he was a project manager for the development of the next generation of airport surface detection and collision avoidance systems for the US FAA and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. He won a Turnaround Club Award for his contributions to the company's return to profitability. While at Norden, Frank received an MBA from the University of Bridgeport in 1990 and completed United Technologies’ Program/Project Management Course in 1993. He also received a JD from Quinnipiac College School of Law in 1999.

Upon graduation from law school, Frank relocated to Brevard County, Florida, where he began his legal career as an assistant state attorney. He was recruited into private practice in 2001. In 2002, Frank opened his own law firm through which he has helped hundreds of clients.
