Brett Alan Hyde

We hired Mr Hyde to help with bankruptcy. Talked to his office girl about 60 days later, she told me not to call her until we paid in full, then they would tell us what else we had to do to file. He knew we were struggling on a fixed income. One thing after another hit us. But we kept making payment...s as we could. We had paid him $600 and our last check came back without a forwarding address, no phone number when tried to call. We have not been able to find him. We have not been able hire another attorney as they want the full fees up front. So we were taken for a ride by Mr Hyde. WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE HIRE HIM, WE FEEL HE WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT REPRESENT YOU.

When we met with Mr. Hyde at the initial consultation, he seemed like a nice person and a competent attorney. He answered our questions and we left the initial meeting with a good feeling about hiring him to handle our bankruptcy case. The initial consultation was the only contact we had with Mr Hy...de. Our interactions with his paralegal soured us on the whole experience. We experienced long periods with no contact on our case and were dealt excuses and a generally poor attitude when we tried to get information from his paralegal. We completed and submitted our required paperwork within 6 weeks of our initial consultation (Oct 4, 2013) with Mr Hyde. The paperwork was submitted to the attorney's office about mid-November 2013. After not hearing from Mr Hyde's office for several weeks, we were finally informed that our case would not be filed with the court until after the new year. We finally got our court date in June 2014. On our court date, we weren't even represented by Mr Hyde or his paralegal--but were represented by an associate of Mr Hyde. Contacts with Mr Hyde's paralegal resulted in confused dates, incorrect information, and outright denials by the paralegal of claimed actions or statements. Mr. Hyde may be a good attorney, but I will not recommend him to anyone based on the lousy service we received from his paralegal.

I was mislead by Mr. Hyde from the beginning. I was told he could do things that later he denied saying and after six months of calling and asking his OBNOXIOUS secretary for information and was told every time he was to busy or in court and DID NOT want to listen to me I would then give up and ...hang up. After six months of NOT getting a call back from him I used a different phone and made an apt to speak to him. I showed up just to be told he was in court. Which I didn't believe as when I pulled up to his office someone was just leaving. I told her He could call many times to NO AVAIL, I NEVER GOT A CALL OR ANY INFORMATION AT ALL!

The attorney was great at the initial consultation, however after we made our final payment, his response to our questions and concerns fell to almost zero. We were not even represented, in court, by Mr. Hyde or his associate. The trustee had questions that we could not answer, and we did not have ...the attorney, who we paid dearly for his services, for needed help. Mr. Hyde's para-legal was extremely rude, gave inaccurate information, and caused delays because of giving us bad information. In a very difficult time for us, the attorney and his helper added to our problems, instead of solving them.
