Brett Alan Hyde

We hired Mr Hyde to help with bankruptcy. Talked to his office girl about 60 days later, she told me not to call her until we paid in full, then they would tell us what else we had to do to file. He knew we were struggling on a fixed income. One thing after another hit us. But we kept making payment...s as we could. We had paid him $600 and our last check came back without a forwarding address, no phone number when tried to call. We have not been able to find him. We have not been able hire another attorney as they want the full fees up front. So we were taken for a ride by Mr Hyde. WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE HIRE HIM, WE FEEL HE WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT REPRESENT YOU.

When we met with Mr. Hyde at the initial consultation, he seemed like a nice person and a competent attorney. He answered our questions and we left the initial meeting with a good feeling about hiring him to handle our bankruptcy case. The initial consultation was the only contact we had with Mr Hy...de. Our interactions with his paralegal soured us on the whole experience. We experienced long periods with no contact on our case and were dealt excuses and a generally poor attitude when we tried to get information from his paralegal. We completed and submitted our required paperwork within 6 weeks of our initial consultation (Oct 4, 2013) with Mr Hyde. The paperwork was submitted to the attorney's office about mid-November 2013. After not hearing from Mr Hyde's office for several weeks, we were finally informed that our case would not be filed with the court until after the new year. We finally got our court date in June 2014. On our court date, we weren't even represented by Mr Hyde or his paralegal--but were represented by an associate of Mr Hyde. Contacts with Mr Hyde's paralegal resulted in confused dates, incorrect information, and outright denials by the paralegal of claimed actions or statements. Mr. Hyde may be a good attorney, but I will not recommend him to anyone based on the lousy service we received from his paralegal.

Mr. Hyde represented me in a very nasty divorce. He and his paralegal worked with me and offered me support and expert help. No one wants to go through this process but if you must, Brett Hyde and his staff are there for you. Many attorneys start that way but his office and his staff never let me dow...n. They always took my calls, kept me up to date with my case and the outcome was much better than I expected thanks to the hard work and dedication they offered to me. Mr. Hyde and his staff helped me through the loss of my husband, filing a bankruptcy and doing a new will package for me. They were kind to me. His paralegal and receptionist made me feel like part of the family. They are available to talk to even after hours. Some lawyers promise to help and then fo...rget about you. Not Mr. Hyde. I will always appreciate everything he did for me and I will tell my friends to go and see him. You can trust him. He is a Christian and has a good heart. Mr. Hyde met with my wife and I several times and offered us numerous options to address our problem. He did not charge for the consult and offered us a payment plan to help with the costs. His paralegal took an endless amount of time with my wife who is ill and was unable to complete most of the pap...erwork on her own. Good honest local attorney who sincerely cares about his clients.
