Estate planning and locating pensions

Discovering the complications of aging I needed professional help. Mr. Jacoby and his paralegal Mr. Cason took me patiently step by step through the process of estate planning and located the contact for my pension. I was more than pleased and thankful for their knowledge and patience.

Highly Professional Elder Law advocate

My Mother began working with Mr. Jacoby in 2009. He and his staff helped with every aspect of her long term care plans including appropriate health care directives, power of attorney, trust accounts and Medicaid Certification. Because of Mr. Jacoby’s knowledge of Florida Elder Law her Medicaid cer...tification was completed and approved within a few months. The Medicaid certification allowed her to immediately obtain critical home care and services through the Nursing Home Diversion program. Because of those services she was able to remain at home with her family for several years. Eventually, as her health declined, she moved into an Assisted Living facility, then Hospice care, and in early 2015 into a Nursing Home. We have worked with Mr. Jacoby and his knowledgeable staff since 2009. At each transition of care, David and his staff never failed to promptly assist us. Without their help we would have experienced many delays. Most recently, we experienced an issue which could have affected her care in the Nursing Home. Based on his contacts and experience this issue was resolved within twenty four hours. It has been a real pleasure working with Mr. Jacoby and his staff these past six years. I know I could not have done this without his help. He is a caring advocate for elder care.

David Jacoby Review Jan. 21 2016

Mr. Jacoby is extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of properly planning for Medicaid. I worked with his team and my direct agent was Margot who is fantastic. My case was complex and had many components that all had to work before applying. After hiring Mr. Jacoby in early August we were re...ady to apply by Mid November. The application was so perfectly executed that the application was accepted in a few days and on DEC. 22 Margot called me to say that my mom was now covered by Medicaid. A marvelous Christmas Present indeed. If you are reading this do not hesitate in hiring Mr. Jacoby. It will be the best decision you could ever make in properly planning your parents care without wiping out their life savings. It was the best money I ever spent. I feel such peace of mind now and my mom is happy at her Long Term Care Facility. They treat their residents in a caring and respectful manner. I could not have accomplished this without Mr. Jacoby and Margot.

A Dedicated and Tireless Advocate

My parents became clients of David Jacoby in 2010 after attending a seminar that he conducted. He took care of wills, trusts and Medicaid planning for them, among other things. Mr. Jacoby is knowledgeable and dedicated. He has always responded quickly to both emails and phone calls and goes beyond... the call of duty to assist in whatever way he can. He is a kind man who truly cares about his clients. My parents have been through some difficult circumstances and I don't know how we would have managed without David Jacoby's help and support. Help with my 95 year old Dad

Mr. Jacoby was initially hired by my dad for help with my mom. When it was time for my dad to consider other living arrangements I went to Mr. Jacoby for help. Mr. Jacoby and his staff were very accommodating, and spent many hours explaining what my options were. He researched and produced many docum...ents pertaining to my Dad's situation, and offered his expert advice. Thanks, Mr Jacoby. I could not have done it by myself. A job well done.
