The absolute best!

If you need help with elder care, don't waste your time anywhere else. We suddenly found ourselves in a very desperate situation with our mom. The facility where she was sent to for rehab after a fall was horrible. She couldn't walk, and was not improving. Her physical therapy was completely inad...equate. They facility exhausted all of her Medicare days, and threatened to send her back to her independent living apartment without a care plan in place, and no regard for her well being. They wanted us to pay $6000.00 a month to place her in long term care, and insisted that her VA benefits would not cover her continued rehab. They were wrong, and refused to call the VA to find out. We realized that we needed help. We contacted one attorney who wanted $600.00 dollars to write an income only trust document. We had no idea what to do. We live in PA, and our 3 day visit had turned into 3 weeks of despair. This was one day before hurricane Irma hit! We found Mr. Jacoby and a few other attorneys on the internet and started making phone calls. He was the only one to call us back, and he met with us right away. It was the best thing we ever did. He completely understood what was going on, and exactly how to resolve our situation. We needed several document prepared to achieve the best outcome for our mom. His fee wasn't even close to what the other attorney wanted to charge us. It was more than fair, to the point where we thought that we might be getting scammed. But what else could we do? Mr. Jacoby and his staff are amazing, caring and compassionate people. They have kept their word at every step. If not for them, our mom probably would have died. But, in just a few days, our mom was in a facility where she received the best physical therapy and is now at a point where she can move to assisted living, She is now on Medicaid. There is no way that we could have achieved that on our own. The paperwork and documentation needed for Medicaid approval is unbelievable. We are eternally grateful to Mr. Jacoby and his staff. They have followed up on our mom's progress and continue to communicate with us. I would urge anyone who needs help or advise with elderly care to contact Mr. Jacoby.

Intelligent, Knowledgeable, Compassionate - Best in the Business

The experience at David Jacoby’s law office was outstanding for me and all of the family members to whom he provided service. We originally visited his office to work out a Medicaid issue for my grandmother. After such a positive experience, my mother, my siblings, and I have all utilized his service...s. David Jacoby has breadth and depth of experience, which results in an incredible knowledge of the law, finances, and all associated issues. Moreover, he took the time to understand our individual situation and guide us through the best course of action for our specific situation. Ironically, the best course of action was not what we preconceived. David Jacoby showed us a better process which was more financially sound. He is by far the most intelligent and competent attorney I have encountered. This, coupled with his compassion, makes him the best in the business. In addition, the staff at David Jacoby’s office are equally outstanding. I worked closely with Paul Withrow, his office administrator. Mr. Withrow also took the time with me before I signed and executed the documents to ensure I understood each aspect of each document, and he provided guidance to the portions where I needed assistance. He was patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Without reservation, I give my highest recommendation to David Jacoby and his team.

Highly Recommended

I would highly recommend Mr. Jacoby and his entire team. My father entrusted his and my mother's elder care and family trust legal matters with Mr. Jacoby years ago and it was an excellent decision. Mr. Jacoby was there for us as a family during the years between both of my parents passing and then a...gain to navigate the distribution of assets. Mr. Jacoby did an excellent job advising the trust executor and his staff provided quick support whenever needed.

Highly Professional Elder Law advocate

My Mother began working with Mr. Jacoby in 2009. He and his staff helped with every aspect of her long term care plans including appropriate health care directives, power of attorney, trust accounts and Medicaid Certification. Because of Mr. Jacoby’s knowledge of Florida Elder Law her Medicaid cer...tification was completed and approved within a few months. The Medicaid certification allowed her to immediately obtain critical home care and services through the Nursing Home Diversion program. Because of those services she was able to remain at home with her family for several years. Eventually, as her health declined, she moved into an Assisted Living facility, then Hospice care, and in early 2015 into a Nursing Home. We have worked with Mr. Jacoby and his knowledgeable staff since 2009. At each transition of care, David and his staff never failed to promptly assist us. Without their help we would have experienced many delays. Most recently, we experienced an issue which could have affected her care in the Nursing Home. Based on his contacts and experience this issue was resolved within twenty four hours. It has been a real pleasure working with Mr. Jacoby and his staff these past six years. I know I could not have done this without his help. He is a caring advocate for elder care.

Excellent Service

I recently worked with David and his staff. Through their diligent work we were able to place my wife in long-term care where she peacefully spent the last 6 months of her life. Without their services we would not have been able to accomplish this feat. The team is extremely professional, caring a...bout all personal issues, and very supportive throughout the whole process. Their follow-up and continuing services have been very beneficial throughout the process. I thank them for their assistance and would gladly recommend them to others.
