Biography
Tom Deans is a true Brevardian. His family moved to South Brevard in 1962. Tom’s father spent his career at NASA, and Tom enjoyed witnessing all the great achievements during the hey day of the manned space program. He particularly enjoyed working the summer of 1976 during the bicentennial as a at Kennedy Space Center. Tom graduated from Melbourne High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida State University. Tom attended law school at the University of Florida and graduated in 1982. Immediately following law school, Tom went to work for Charles Holcomb in Merritt Island. For a few years before Judge Holcomb was elected to the bench, they practiced together in Cocoa Village as Holcomb & Deans. Tom opened his own practice in Melbourne in 1991. Tom has focused on family law matters including divorce, paternity, modifications, etc. for over the last 30 years.
