Samuel Jay Wise

After getting a speeding ticket in Volusia County, FL, i received a litter from Ms. Wise about what he could possibly do for my case. I'm not a Florida resident and told Mr. Wise i'm a disabled veteran living in NC. After some correspondence, i agreed to hire Mr. Wise. Yesterday, i received an email ...indicating my case was dismissed. I was pleasantly surprised to received the news about my case being dismissed. I would hire Mr. Wise again. He Delivered !!!1

I chose to hire Samuel Wise over another Law Office for one reason. Samuel Wise's office advertises that if you hire him, none of the other attorney's "of record" will actually be present in court on your behalf but that if you hire Mr. Samuel Wise, not only will he be the attorney of record but he w...ill also be the attorney who represents you on your hearing date. Mr. Wise was my attorney of record but was not the attorney who represented me on my hearing date. I was represented by an attorney other than Samuel Wise. It also took approximately two weeks after my hearing to learn anything about my case from this Law Office. I was able to produce some information on my own via the County Clerks office in the meantime. Mr. Wise's office took their time mailing me a letter even though fines were due. I lost approximately 25% of the time I had to pay the fine unknowingly. I don't believe that I received poor representation. I just believe that I did not receive the representation I paid for. It seems in poor practice to misrepresent the service being rendered. I am greatly disappointed. I am at peace with the overall outcome of my case. However, I will continue to consider the possibility that I may have received a more pleasant outcome had I of been represented by the individual whom had been given the details of my case from the beginning. After consulting regarding my case the real work began in earnest and yet nobody communicated any changes to me. It's difficult to recommend an attorney with whom I was never represented by.
