Michael Phillip DeVoe

I hired Michael DeVoe to represent a TPR case for my son in the latter part of 2013 and feel that I need to share my experience with his services. Especially for others to review. It was the MOST devastating event in my life thus far and a nightmare for my son. Michael DeVoe is not like most lawyer...s “take your money, dodge your phone calls, push your case off on a Paralegal assistant” NO Michael has no paralegal to lighten his load. He does all his research and all his work on his own. But Michael helped us through it. He communicated with us on an ongoing basis, if I had a question I would send a text to his office number or call his office and if he was there he would take my call right away or within an hour, if he was not in the office, he would return my call. There were so many Saturdays and Sundays he worked on our case non-stop, He was in it to WIN it. How do I know this? He called me or my son inquiring on how my son’s services were going, if he was on track with what he had to do for his case, asking us the questions he needed in detail to help in our case. One Saturday he was researching Case trial, as I remember when he called me. He communicated and kept us updated consistently, via email, phone in person, etc. Michael always had compassion for me as a Mother, he helped us in so many ways I can’t begin to list them, but I will say, He went WAY above and beyond what any other lawyer would have ever done for us. He knew the financial strain I was under, but continued services for us, really not knowing if he was going to be paid in full or not. He gave us advice and the encouragement we needed, just to pull us through another day in court on quite a few occasions. He has no Idea how his services helped both of us to hang on. I thank the Lord for putting him in our lives. He is such a hardworking, Loyal and trustworthy Lawyer. You don’t find Lawyers like Michael out there, we were blessed to have him. He Love’s what he does, he’s good at it and it shows. I’m glad he wasn’t on the opposite side of our team! However, my sons case was very difficult, there were a lot of things stacked against him, but Michael never flinched he took it on full force. My son did not win his case, but it wasn’t because his Lawyer didn’t do a Fantastic Job. He gave the prosecution a big run for their Money. Due to the situation, without going into explicit detail, as a Mother I already knew the outcome before I started. But I had hope, unfortunately the outcome was not in our favor, but I can honestly say, we had an Excellent Lawyer that pulled no stops and gave it everything. I’m glad it’s behind us. Now it’s time for healing and only God can help with that. I’m So happy we had Michael in our corner. Thank you a thousand times a thousand times Michael and if I ever need a Lawyer again you will be the first I call. Thank you Sherrie
