Biography
Michael R. Santana joined Liggio Benrubi in 2010. Mr. Santana started practicing law with Robert M. Montgomery, Jr. & Associates, P.A., where he rose from intern to attorney while working through law school. He has successfully tried automobile negligence cases, wrongful death cases, and has experience with medical malpractice, premises liability, contract and insurance litigation.
Mr. Santana was born and raised in West Palm Beach. He earned his bachelor's degree in Finance and International Business from Florida State University before earning his J.D. from the Florida International University College of Law in Miami.
While in law school, Santana tried numerous cases in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's Office. Santana was also active in the Florida International University College of Law's Moot Court team where he earned several awards recognizing his advocacy skills.
