Brian W. Bennett

Mr. Bennett is Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law and practices law with Bennett Legal Group, P.A. in Orlando, Florida. He is an expert and specialist in construction law. He has represented various participants in the construction process, including owners, general contractors, design professionals and major subcontractors. In his construction law practice, Mr. Bennett routinely handles mechanic’s liens, contract negotiations, construction defect litigation, and general contract litigation. His work with the ABA’s Construction Litigation Committee includes serving as past chair of the expert subcommittee and speaking at ABA forum meetings on construction law topics.

Prior to earning his law degree, Mr. Bennett worked in the fields of civil engineering and general construction for over 6 years. His civil engineering experience includes the design of sanitary sewer, water distribution, and storm drainage systems for various residential and commercial developments. His general construction experience includes project management of commercial projects including a 10 story dormitory for the College of Charleston and the alumni center for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
