Biography
Robert P. Skubiak, founder and senior partner of Skubiak & Rivas, P.A., graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Economics in 1989 and then went to law schools at the University of Florida and graduated in 1992. At the age of 24, Robert Skubiak pursued a legal career in criminal and traffic defense.
After a short stint learning the criminal traffic defense trade as an associate attorney for a prominent Miami firm, Robert Skubiak started Robert Skubiak, P.A. in September 1993.
Success quickly followed as the firm grew and in 1999 Alain Rivas joined the firm as an associate attorney. The momentum continued as Skubiak & Rivas, P.A. was formed in 2001. Robert Skubiak combines to further the firm’s reputation, as the community, local judges and attorneys have become familiar with Robert Skubiak and Alain Rivas daily courtroom appearances.
Skubiak &Rivas P.A. has since thrived as Orlando’s most recognizable traffic defense firm.
Personally, Robert Skubiak is an avid tennis player, and has professionally acted in television and on stage. Born and raised in Chicago, IL and Holmdel, NJ. Robert Skubiak has called Florida home since in 1990.
