Biography
Matt Pearce represents individuals and corporations in government investigations and prosecutions, as well as in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. In recent years, Mr. Pearce has represented leading companies in industries such as banking, technology, medicine, and energy. Mr. Pearce also defends businesses and executives in criminal investigations by the United States Department of Justice, as well as in civil enforcement actions by agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Labor, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Prior to joining Stovash, Case & Tingley, P.A., Mr. Pearce practiced for more than a decade in Atlanta, Georgia, with one of the nation's largest law firms. In 2011 and 2012, Mr. Pearce was recognized as a Rising Star in the area of business litigation by Super Lawyers magazine.
Mr. Pearce is active in the community and frequently volunteers to represent clients on a pro bono basis, including the victims of domestic violence, as well as children as a guardian ad litem.
