My wife, Alyssa, and I have called Florida our home for over twenty years. We moved to Florida from Pennsylvania in 1993. Alyssa and I attended community college in the Florida Keys while I managed a local pizza restaurant. Somehow we managed to drag ourselves out of the Florida Keys to Tallahassee in order to attend Florida State University in 1996. We both graduated with Bachelor’s Degrees and I continued on to Law School at F.S.U.
During law school I was certified to practice law early through a program that worked with children in the dependency and juvenile justice system. I had the incredible experience of representing disadvantaged youth in court. I was able to help many youth leave the juvenile system. I was able to help several other children find family and develop a plan that removed them from the custody of the Department of Children and Families (DCF). These experiences solidified my focus on helping the disadvantaged. These opportunities also provided me court and even trial experience much earlier than most legal careers.
After law school, I worked for a couple of years in both the Kissimmee and Ocala Public Defender’s offices. In these positions, I was forced to work huge caseloads with very few resources. I, once again, learned to do whatever was necessary to represent the disadvantaged. These positions provided me with an incredible amount of court and trial experience, all of which I enjoyed immensely. The high time demands, emotional drain, and demands of my growing family led me to leave the Public Defender’s office and start my own law firm.
I opened my first office in Holly Hill, Florida in 2003 and, as the saying goes, never looked back! I have started a total of seven separate law offices since 2003. I have represented thousands of clients in: Bankruptcy, Foreclosure Defense, Social Security Disability, and many other areas of law. I have had many employees in the last decade and my firm now has the best that Florida has to offer in terms on employees and attorneys. I now also have a smart, dedicated, and compassionate share-holder, Allison Moscato. It is a thrill to see the great team we now have work so hard to serve our clients!
Besides the practice of law, my life is absorbed with my wife and five children. Our faith is central to our family. I also enjoy running, reading, and mentoring.
I look forward to serving you.
