Jesse was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where he fell in love with good seafood and NFL football. He moved to Orlando, Florida in 1997 and was quick to call it home. He enjoys visiting and spending time with his family in Florida and Maryland.
Jesse received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida in 2007, majoring in Legal Studies and minoring in Criminal Justice. While working full time, Jesse graduated with honors and received his Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2014.
Jesse’s sole focus has been helping Florida’s injured workers. He began his career as a legal assistant at Van Dingenen Law in 2007 while finishing his senior year of college at UCF. He quickly learned the workers’ compensation law and developed a passion for helping injured workers and their families. As a senior paralegal, Jesse assisted Mr. Van Dingenen in obtaining a $76.6 million jury verdict for a young construction worker that was paralyzed on the job. Jesse continued working full time with Van Dingenen Law while attending FAMU law school in the evenings. Jesse now proudly represents injured workers in their workers’ compensation claims.

Don't waste your time
He didn't even make a argument at my settlement I had to tell them what I would take for a settlement my so called lawyer just sat there and wouldn't even make a argument. I called him a little while after the settlement to ask a question and they told me the case was closed and haven't even called...
Hi Gregg, I am sorry that you are unhappy with your experience in your workers' compensation case from last year. In your case, as in all others, we file petitions for benefits with the Judge of Compensation Claims in order to secure your benefits - medical treatment and lost wages. When we reach the court ordered mediation, we discuss resolving any issues in regards to those benefits or, in the alternative, a lump sum settlement of the case. When we discuss settlements in a mediation or other setting it is a back-and-forth negotiation. Ethically, I am required to discuss with my clients what it is they want out of a potential settlement. It is then my roll to give my legal opinion, advice, and present your options. We did not take any of your workers' compensation benefits. We work on a contingency fee basis. This means that we are only compensated for our time and efforts if we get you a settlement. The attorney's fee is a standard percentage of your total settlement. If you decided to decline the settlement offer, you would not have been obligated to pay any money for our services or expenses. Also, I apologize that your phone call was not returned right away. Unfortunately our office was not open for several days over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Also, since your case had been settled for almost a year, we had to pull your file from our storage unit. However, I am glad that we were able to answer your question once our office reopened. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time! Thank you and Happy New Year! - Jesse Rowe, Esquire
