Jefferson Vaughan Hester

Jeff Hester began his legal journey in the South, completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi in 2011 before earning his Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law in 2014. Upon earning his admission to the Mississippi Bar that same year, he launched his career as a general practitioner in Tupelo. In this initial chapter, Jeff focused heavily on advocating for individuals in plaintiff general liability cases, including auto accidents and slip-and-fall incidents, while also handling commercial insurance coverage disputes and estate matters. He ultimately capped off his meaningful time practicing in Mississippi by working on high-stakes opioid litigation, fighting on behalf of individuals, survivors, and next of kin against major pharmaceutical manufacturers.
In 2020, Jeff made an exciting personal and professional move, relocating to Florida with his wife and two children. After successfully passing the Florida Bar Exam and gaining admission to practice in 2021, he stepped right into the state's legal arena by handling first-party plaintiff Personal Injury Protection litigation for three years. To further round out his professional background, Jeff then transitioned into insurance defense, spending the next three years specializing in Personal Injury Protection, general liability, and construction defect cases. This crucial period gave him invaluable, behind-the-scenes insight into how insurance companies evaluate, handle, and defend claims.

Today, Jeff has proudly brought his dual perspective and extensive litigation background to the team at Morgan and Morgan, where he now focuses his entire practice solely on Workers' Compensation cases. He utilizes his deep understanding of both sides of the legal system to level the playing field for injured workers, ensuring they receive the full benefits, medical care, and respect they deserve.
