Hugh McDonnell

Hugh's the man when it comes to criminal cases! I got a DUI back in July and this was my first time ever in trouble with the law. I decided to go with Hugh immediately after our consultation. He managed to get 2/3 of the charges dropped while reducing my DUI from enhanced to regular. He also kept me ...cool and level headed during a very stressful few months. Anytime I called he always had answers or results to show how my case was going. He got me the best deal you could ever imagine and I couldn't have been happier with him! If I ever have another problem or know someone who needs a lawyer, I'm calling Hugh ASAP! He knows the system in and out. As long as he's practicing he's my "permanent" attorney!

This is the worse lawyer I've ever met or encountered in my life. You would think that his age means experience but he uses this to persuade you to hire but in the end he only cares about taking your money. He tell's you what you want to hear he even told me he could get the charges dropped without e...ven seeing the affidavit, history, or no true knowledge of the case. This was a red flag from the first day I met the guy but the "experience " he supposedly had convinced me to hire the guy. He also charged me $3500 for a case that over 5 lawyers I spoke with quoted me no more than $2500. He made me to believe that he was the most expensive because he had the experience that others didn't. His experience turned out to be a con for money that not all people have to throw away. He has major health issues and at times didn't even remember who I was when I called. All he would say instead of admitting to his actions is that "he can withdraw from council if I'm not satisfied". This is after I had already given him over $2250. Long story short do not hire this person. He will lead you on and once you hire him will turn into a whole different person. Again I say, this is the worse lawyer I've ever encountered. If you hire him you're setting yourself up for major dissapointment and pretty much asking to be robbed of your hard earned money.
