I’m Gilbert R. Arroyo, Esq., Owner and Managing Partner at The AM Lawyer, P.A.. I represent people and families facing serious legal problems—especially those accused of crimes—in and around Orlando and across Central Florida.
Who I help (and where)
I focus on helping clients navigate criminal cases in Orange County, Osceola County, Seminole County, Lake County, and Volusia County. I speak English and Spanish, so clients can communicate clearly and confidently throughout the case.

I ask clients to share details early and honestly, and I provide straightforward guidance, regular updates, and clear next steps so you’re never left guessing about what is happening or what comes next.

Before leading my own practice, I gained perspective from multiple sides of the system:

That background helps me evaluate a case from different angles how it may be charged, how evidence may be used, and where leverage can be found for negotiation or litigation.
Pre-arrest and pre-charge representation
If you learn you’re under investigation or think charges may be coming call immediately. I provide pre-arrest / pre-charge representation, including early communication with law enforcement and the State Attorney’s Office before formal charges are filed. Early intervention can sometimes reduce exposure, shape the record, and in some situations help avoid charges altogether.
