I used The Fab Law Firm to file my divorce and was quoted a price of 3,500 with a max price of 7,500 if we needed mediation. I paid the 7,500 upfront just in case. The case ended up not needing mediation because the ex-wife and I were able to reach an agreement on our own, which we sent to our lawyer...s to draft. In total I spoke with my point of contact less than 10 times on the phone and less than 20 times via email. I was charged over 6,500 dollars for the work because they charged me for every email they sent to me and or the other law firm, and at times sending multiple emails (conversations) and charging for each response. I am not sure of many of the items I was charged for because it was just shown as hours they logged for work done on my behalf. I really don't understand all of the work that was done because the ex and I wrote our own agreement and just needed it drafted into legal form and submitted. The lawyers in my case didn't negotiate or write any agreement on my behalf, they simply took the agreement the ex and I made and put it into form for the courts, submitted it, and we were done, but somehow my charges still reached over 6,000 when I was quoted 3,500 if we didn't need mediation. In addition I was giving access to a portal to communicate with them called CLIO, however they were very unresponsive and hard to contact there. My case closed July 16, 2024 and I am now waiting for a review before the remaining funds are returned to me. I was told that Felicia has 30 days to review the file before returning the retainer. However I spoke with them today (Sep 19, 2024) over 2 months after my case has closed and was told that she has now been tasked with doing the review but she hasn't got to it and doesn't have a date on when she can because she is busy. I am a entrepreneur myself and run multiple companies, which is why I feel that this is a completely unacceptable way to deal with a client. I don't usually write bad reviews but I do feel like people should be aware of my experience, and hopefully save them some of the trouble I've dealt with.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS FIRM “THE FAB LAW FIRM“ & BE MORE AWARE OF FELICIA A. BUNBURY!! She painted an amazing picture when we first talk just to get me to get the retainer money of $7,000.00 not to mention the $300 dollars I paid to talk to her. She promised me that’s all I will pay if it doesn’t go... to trial & I will maybe have some retainer money left for me. All that was recorded by their firm. A month before my mediation I received text, e-mail & a Clío-portal message that if I don’t re-punish my retainer with $3,500.00 they will withdrawal me from the case! I felt I was being threatened. Long story short we disagree back & forth they send me the withdrawal papers I denied to sign it. Went to hearing with a judge & I was never allowed in on the Webex & they granted motion to them, when I was on the phone waiting for them to let me in the waiting room. They put parties never showed up. Now I’m doing whatever it takes to fight that & to fight to what they did to me. This wasn’t fair! & if they did it to me they are doing the same to many other innocent people out there & attorneys like this we need to stop them!! We go to them with trust for them to do this to us. I couldn’t get my divorce but I sure gonna try my best & with my prove to try to get this lawyer from doing this to other. Her sweet voice it’s convincing but at the end she becomes another person when she can’t collect more money. Don’t go through the experience I went through. I work more in my case than they did. & I collected a lot of prove because I knew in my guts they weren’t right & I thank God for that!! Be aware please!! Also read other negative reviews. They are like the same that happened to me. But I’m not going to stop!! Please don’t fall for this firm or Felicia A.Bunbury

Felicia talks a big game, filed several motions, but ultimately didn't advance or progress my case in any substantial way. In fact, I lost the upper hand in my case as a result of her poorly calculated moves and paid about $5000 in legal fees to her which was a total waste of money. Both Ex and I wer...e out of the State and she set a motion for a court date. Then in the 11th hour she advised me to withdraw the court hearing because we needed to depose my wife despite having months to prepare and everyone spending a lot of time and money to arrive in town. Ultimately I followed her recommendation but because the hearing was canceled with such short notice the judge, other party, and other party's lawyer showed up where I was ordered to pay for all of their travel expenses! I was very disappointed by the service I received and hired another lawyer who promptly helped me settle this case.
