I have never used a lawyer in my life so my first experience is with Mr. McCoy. He helped me SO much and made me feel so much better about my employment situation. I consulted with him twice and each time I felt so relieved that he has my legal situation under control!!! It was worth every penny I spent and I'll be calling him again when needed.
Nathan McCoy is an astute professional committed to delivering a fair and just experience. His expertise in representing the employer and the employee serves a comprehensive understanding that best supports a positive conflict resolution for his clients.
My experience with Mr. McCoy is simply best in class. His knowledge, business acumen and passion to serve has earned him a exemplary lawyer status.
Employment Contracts, Business Contracts, Partnership Agreements, Severance Agreements, etc.
Few attorneys can say they have done it all in their area of practice. Nathan McCoy can. From defending Fortune 500 companies at one of the nation’s largest and most distinguished management defense firms to practicing with one of Florida’s most well-known “Plaintiffs Firms,” Nathan has gained invaluable experience from every angle of the courtroom and bargaining table. His diverse experience has given him keen insight into the minds of corporations (both large and small), individuals, and their counsel as they position themselves in legal battles and negotiations. Because he has been behind enemy lines and back again, he has developed a breadth of legal and business knowledge, as well as a true balanced perspective.
Nathan has parlayed such experience into co-founding and managing Wilson McCoy, P.A., a law firm dedicated to coaching, counseling, and representing businesses and individuals in business and employment related matters. Since its inception in 2012, Wilson McCoy, P.A. has been named by and featured as a “Best Law Firm” by U.S. News & World Report from 2013 – 2015. As a true “lawpreneur,” Nathan enjoys working with entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses to ensure complying with the law does not interfere with the creativity needed to succeed in today’s legalistic business environment.
Nathan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Central Florida (“UCF”) and obtained his law degree from the University of Tennessee, where he served as Managing Editor of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law and was a member of the Board of Editors for the Tennessee Law Review.
Nathan is a published author and a contributing author to the to-be-released book, “Get in the Game,” has served as a guest professor on contracts for UCF, and often lectures at legal seminars. He is married to his wife of 14 years, a proud father of two, and an endurance obstacle race enthusiast.

Great work, a sincere Thank You
I am the victim of retaliation and discrimination. I had no idea the incidents would take such a toll on my wellbeing and go beyond the legal boundaries so I decided to seek legal help to address the situation. I decided to search for the best law firm as any person would in my situation and started with consultation with Wilson & McCoy law firm. After my initial consultation with Attorney Nathan, I was impressed by his conduct, knowledge, honesty, professionalism and above all compassion and decided right then and there without searching further that Nathan will represent me. And I am glad that I made that decision.
Not only he and his team proved my case, but I felt taken care of and respected by everyone involved. I can’t say how many times at my workplace I had issues with everything happening; that I felt free and safe to email or call at law firm and communicate with Nathan or other attorneys and paralegal. They always listened and could calm me down and always had an answer. If they didn’t have the answer right then, they would call or email me back whenever they did and kept me updated about my case.
Nathan has gone far and above what I had expected to receive from any attorney .He and his team were always a friendly voice during stressful time and I found them a perfect example of what Legal firm should be for a client who seeks not only help and justice but desires compassion in these times too. Nathan personally was instrumental in keeping me sane at times when I was vulnerable due to stress and pressure that comes with dealing with the ongoing legal action which is impressive and make him the best attorney in Orlando and my defender and protector. If needed again, I wouldn’t go or suggest anyone else other than Nathan McCoy and his team.
Thanks Nathan, you are super-duper awesome and my champion and an amazing human.

Decent consult but went downhill from there...
The last thing I would want to do is upset an attorney and risk getting sued, but its not fair how I was treated after my initial conversation with the receptionist and attorney. I was very concerned Nathan would not prioritize my case and I based this off how long it took to receive updates or returned calls. This is just my opinion and maybe he was having a bad month.

Nathan McCoy - poor performance
Nathan McCoy does not return phone calls or emails in a timely manner. Provides excuses and makes promises he does not keep. Poor follow up. Did not follow proper procedure which resulted in diminished damages or possibly none. He concentrates on bigger cases and does not show care or concern for less lucrative cases. I spent two years with this attorney not working my case which has cost me both financially and emotionally.
