As a former Public Defender, Attorney Dalya Zalloum has successfully handled hundreds of both criminal misdemeanor and felony cases and will aggressively fight to ensure that your rights are protected. During her time there, she developed a respectable reputation among prosecutors, and was able to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients. At one point, Attorney Zalloum was placed in the Domestic Violence Unit, where she aggressively defended those accused of domestic violence. Attorney Zalloum had also gained experience at the Federal Defender for the Middle District of Alabama, where she was placed in both the Trial and Capital Habeas Unit and fought to shed light on the innocent individuals currently on death row. Her experience there led her to write an article on Alabama's death penalty scheme that is a forthcoming publication in the Alabama's Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review.
Attorney Zalloum has extensive experience in appeals and appellate writing, and she has successfully argued in the front of the Florida Supreme Court, and judges from the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and Fifth District Court of Appeals. Such cases included pressing issues regarding Fourth Amendment Search and Seizure, Section 1983 Civil Rights for the maltreatment of prisoners, and Title IX for university failure to remediate the effects of sexual assault on college campuses. Attorney Zalloum has also successfully petitioned the state Governor for clemency and pardons for qualifying clients.
Along with criminal defense, Attorney Zalloum has successfully fought alongside her partner, Attorney Ralph Garcia, against big insurance companies and was able to recover substantial compensation for those whose claims have been denied by their insurance company. She has also fought to keep the homes of those who are facing foreclosure.
In sum, Attorney Zalloum is a fighter. She has always maintained a passion for zealously defending her clients, and the rights they are guaranteed. She has also always maintained the belief that no state, insurance company, or bank is too big to take on. If you or a loved one are experiencing a legal issue and need assistance, do not settle.

If you’re looking for someone to represent you, look no further. She’...
