Robert Hunter Pflueger

Mr. Pflueger helped my family and I through a very difficult time. In 2006 my husband was part of the NASA layoff's and we found ourselves upside down on our primary home's mortgage. We had just had our first child in 2005. In addition, the tenant we had in our investment property also fell on har...d times and had to move out leaving the property vacant. We attempted to rent and sell both properties for over a year with no success. After maxing out our credit by attempting to stay current on the mortgages, bills and living expenses, we had no other option but to contact a bankruptcy attorney. Our case was a bit complicated due to the multiple mortgages, home based business and many other factors. He helped us through all that we needed to do to file Chapter 7 and even made sure that we had tax forgiveness for the mortgages that were filed in the Chapter 7 as well. Mr. Pflueger and his paralegal, Lucy helped us every step of the way. They helped us through the credit counseling, the paper work and Mr. Pflueger was by our side at the court appearance, which was way less stressful than we thought it would be. He truly made us feel like we were his only client. Every time we called, someone spoke to us. Every question we had was answered right away by phone or email. I would say that Mr. Pflueger's practice is small, boutique, "concierge" type legal practice allowing them to focus on each client personally and we found this very important with all that we had to risk. We were so nervous about the entire process, and our own perceptions about bankruptcy and it's long term effects on our credit that it kept us from doing it for years. I honestly wish we wouldn't have waited as long as we did. After the process was over, Lucy and Mr. Pflueger continued to work with us with advice on rebuilding our credit and helping us to monitor and dispute anything that came up as incorrect. Since then I have personally referred at least 10 others to Mr. Pflueger and have had very happy reports from all of my referrals. Although I don't foresee the need to every file bankruptcy again, if the need arrises I will only go to Mr. Pflueger.
