I had contacted Mr Barbarette on a criminal defense matter; I was only in the lawyer finding stage and told him i would call him back if i chose to go with him. I did not like the way he handled the consult and therefore i chose a different attorney. He calls me back a few days later and tells me a...bout how he had spoken to and discussed my case with the state attorney assigned to it. When I confronted him as to why he would discuss my case without my consent and without being retained by me, he became combative and said that "I had committed a serious crime" which I am only bring accused off. I guess, innocent until proven guilty does not apply with this attorney. He never even considered my innocence and potentially harmed my case by talking to the prosecutor.
