I highly recommend Mark Rubin

For the past five years Mr. Mark Rubin has represented me in my two decade long divorce proceedings that have cost me more than I care to admit prior to Mr. Rubin taking my case. He has saved me income tax returns that would have been taken by my ex-spouse and even disability benefits as I am one hun...dred percent disabled. I would love to tell you that this was a one time ordeal but she has attempted this three times to date and will likely try again in the future. If I did not have the assistance of Mr. Rubin I could be homeless and without proper care, he has kept me from being raped by the Department of Child Support Services and my ex-spouse as he knows the laws and he has worked for the Department of Child support services. Taking in to consideration all of these attributes and Mr. Rubin's extremely good nature and willingness to work with anyone, one would be foolish to pass up having him represent them with a man of this character and devotion to his profession. It is with these words that I recommend Mr. Mark Rubin to you for all of your legal matters and say that you will not find a better attorney in the panhandle of Florida to provide legal services.

I highly recommend this attorney - he is excellent

Negotiated my divorce over and over again with a difficult attorney and ended up getting my child support significantly reduced because I am currently unemployed, got a needed lump sum payment to me for half the equity in the house, and incredibly liberal time-sharing (and shared transportation) with... my son (the most important part) even though I am technically outside of the geographic area. Took time explaining things to me probably too many times because most of this stuff is way beyond me - very patient and down to earth. His secretary Lisa is a sweetheart. I would hire him again in a second.

consult -domestic relations

Mr. Rubin has unique skills in domestic relations/family law,in that, he was employed by fl. Dept of Revenue - child support. I would not hestitate to retain Mr. Rubin in other matters;he is deliberate, well versed and very thorough. I have MBA and worked as CEO/CFO in healthcare for 32 years,deali...ng with many attorneys; Mr.Rubin is unique;in that,he is very personable and respectfull, while providing professional advise in laymans terms. Outstanding family law lawyer

Very smart and understanding divorce attorney, was my child support attorney for the State before he went out on his own years ago, treated me like I was his private client even back then. He handled by child suppoprt case about 15 years ago for the State with Judge Fleet (scary Judge) and he could ...answer any question about my case the Judge had on the flip of a dime - made the other attorney (who I won't name) look totally unprepared. Did an uncontested divorce for me more recently and it was somewhere in the range of $600 plus court costs - and he and his assistants (Summer who is also an attorney) and Lisa were always communicative and respectful. A hard-working attorney who will work your case and not overcharge you. Highly recommend.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Mark and I have known each other for longer than either of us is likely willing to admit. We have been opposite each other often, collaborated occasionally, and in general seen each other working cases in the courtroom, in mediation, and out of the courtroom. I often refer prospective clients I cannot assist to Mark. He has my highest recommendation."

"I endorse Mark Scott Rubin. Mark is an excellent family law attorney. Although he is highly intelligent, he has significant common sense and perspective which allows him to stand in the shoes of his clients and fully understand what such clients are going through during difficult times. He also has an innate ability to see eye to eye with the court and is great to have on your side if you are facing contentious issues."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I endorse this lawyer. Indeed, I offer an unreserved endorsement of Mr. Rubin and his staff. Mr. Rubin has an intellect, skill set and command of the law that I envy.. As a fellow attorney, I can state with confidence that Mr. Rubin has earned the respect, admiration and trust of fellow members of the legal community. It is also my opinion, based on first hand observation and experience, that Mr. Rubin has earned the same reputation with the court system and the judges in the Panhandle area. I routinely consult with Mr. Rubin for advise on complex family law and child support matters that must be addressed in order to resolve my clients' non-family law related cases. I have found his expertise to be of great value to me and my trust has never been misplaced. It is for these reasons that I entertain no hesitation whatsoever in referring all of my potential family law cases in that area to Mr. Rubin's firm. He has my unqualified vote of confidence and trust."

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
