He was upfront about possible expenses, what I needed to provide to him, and the timetable to accomplish it. I met Mr. Collins 4 years ago under civil situations. I was drawing up a contract between a family member and mine. Had I taken Mr. Collins advice the first time, I never would be having to write this review, but hindsight is 20/20. Long story short it was a contract where I was to pay a family me...mber "x" amount per month over a period of time. Mr. Collins wisely advised I should not do that if I did not have to, and he was willing to not take my business in order to help me out personally. However, I insisted and he drew up the contract. A few years later, personal situations changed, and the contract end up working against me. I contacted Mr. Collins again for his advice. He remembered me, he was quick to respond to the civil suit on my behalf. While I was in a no win situation, Mr. Collins gave me honest advice, not advice that would lend him more business, but just good honest matter of fact advice. The amount I rendered for services was more than fair, and at the mediation hearing to settle the civil dispute, I figured I would owe Mr. Collins more money since he had done a fair amount work to prepare up to this point. As we walked out, I said please send me a bill for the remainder, and he smiled and said "I think we are all good." Hiring a lawyer is very rarely surrounding something positive, so in this case it was very nice to hire Mr. Collins who was very candid, honest, and fair. He truly has his client's best interest in mind and he is not going to give advice based on how much money he can make. When you hire Mr. Collins, you are hiring a man with experience who will give you upfront advice. I no longer live in FL, but if I did I would go to Mr. Collins for anything that involves legal matters from contracts to disputes. Mr. Collins is a first rate person and lawyer
