About Jennifer
Biography
A founding member of Copus & Copus, P.A. with her husband Steven, Jennifer originally hails from Arab, Alabama, but has considered Fort Walton Beach her home since 2000. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, where she was awarded five scholarships for academic excellence and received her law degree from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, graduating with Moot Court and Poverty Law Clinic honors.
Jennifer began her legal career as a criminal defense attorney, and later served as an Assistant State Attorney prosecuting child physical and sex abuse cases with the Office of the State Attorney in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. After leaving the Office of the State Attorney, Jennifer shifted her practice to civil litigation and now practices solely in the following areas:
