I have 4 years of experiences as a Corrections Officer and 3 years as a Law Enforcement Officer in Florida, Tennessee and Arizona. On 12/29/2020 I needed assistance will a criminal matter in Milton, Florida while living in Arizona(19 hours away). I just spent 15 months in the Santa Rosa County jail. The first half of my incarceration, I was represented by an attorney who literally told me that my case was hopeless and I was going to prison. The only offer from the state was 25 years. Enter Mr. Randy Etheridge. After firing my first attorney, ...I knew I needed to hire Randy just based on what I'd seen him do on other people's cases since I'd been in the jail. So my family retained him on my case in July 2019. Within a week of hiring Randy, the offer from the state went from 25 years to 15 years. When Randy came to visit me at the jail, he told me he got the offer down to 15 years, but he said he knew that wasn't why my family hired him and that was only the beginning. Randy was extremely thorough in his due diligence and preparation of my defense. He did all of the necessary depositions in a timely fashion and after depositions he filed an extensive and highly accurate Motion to Dismiss with all of the case law to back it up. The judge heard our motion in December 2019. Randy's performance at the hearing was impeccable. The judge took my motion under advisement and three weeks later, I saw Randy at the jail. He said, "Michael, this morning the judge granted our motion. You're going home!" From hopeless with a 25 year state prison offer to case dismissed and I am at home typing this review! Randy Etheridge is a ROCK STAR. Between the power of God and a rock star lawyer a miracle happened and today I am a free man. I can't thank Randy enough for giving me my life back. Mr Etheridge is truly an awesome defense attorney. I was charged with burglary criminal mischief and petty theft I was looking at 22 months prison time because of my record. I first had a public defender who said that he could do nothing for me that I was looking at prison time. I was in jail and a...sked Randy to come and see me, he came and saw me twice and said that he would take the case. I was able to pay all the restitution and he was able to get the burglary dropped and so my case was a misdemeanor instead of a felony. I am forever grateful and would recommend him on any case. I hired Mr. Etheridge to assist my son in violation of probation hearing. My son was facing 12 years on the violation because the State was trying to use his points from when he was a juvenile. Mr. Etheridge not only convinced the Court to not use these points but the Court reinstated his probati...on. This was a remarkable outcome as his family was not expecting him to come home that day.
